There seems to be an abnormally large number of views for each post... surely there aren't that many of us online right now Do please be careful about which sites you visit from here as some are able to log referring URLs and visitors. After all the effort setting this board up I don't wish to have to move it elsewhere because of someone slipping up. I'm sure it's nothing but do please be aware that the discussions here are of a highly sensitive nature.

As a precaution I have disabled the "anonymous" posting facility to prevent members being impersonated by an outsider, and to keep track of IP numbers.
Please use the "register" button up top to sign up with your alias.

If we are "being watched" we must move again.

Is it as bad as that? Remember when our fax service got intercepted back in '88 or '89 - it didn't do any real harm. Most of the know-alls simply claimed that such a society couldn't possibly exist. Fine. Let them. The more they deny we exist, the better it is for us. After all, the clever-clever experts couldn't possibly want to join a non-existant society, could they?
Mind you, I thought that non-members couldn't see into this bulletin board. Has someone slipped up somewhere? (I don't blame you, Johnny, this new technology's tricky to get a handle on at the best of times.)

I agree totally.
It's just not worth the trouble not to.
Memories of last time still leave a horrible taste in the mouth.

Most of the know-alls simply claimed that such a society couldn't possibly exist. Indeed that has always been the greatest ace in our hole, so to speak. Their arrogance astounds me - the notion that such priceless material should be public property. I also find it highly amusing that because these programmes haven't been left with an apology note on the BBC and ITV's doorstep they conclude that no such material exists! Such provincialism of the mind!

I agree totally. It's just not worth the trouble not to. Memories of last time still leave a horrible taste in the mouth. Please, don't remind me. Have you seen that episode of MASH where the front line keeps shifting and they keep having to issue the command,"bug out".

Well it's good to have the board back up again, and looking so lively too. Thanks for the heads up!
Is there any way we can keep people from finding out?

Aside from moving to a more secure system, I can't see a way of being 100% sure we cut out interlopers. I will look into possibilities of annexing onto "privately-held" space.
