Unfortunately due to burgeoning costs resulting from the expansion of our international network, membership fees for the Society will increase as of August this year.
Membership for one year will now rise from £12,500 per year to £13,275 per year. This of course covers all Society meetings/screenings etc and three issues of Pandora.
I regret this greatly but I hope members will see it as a reflection of our increased services over the past year.

Cheap at twice the price!
At least it helps to keep the riff-raff out.

No probs. Actually, for UK members, I was having a drink with my accountant at the 19th the other day. He thinks he has a way of offsetting the membership against tax. He is checking it out.
I will get back to you when he gets back to me.

Fabien - could you e-mail me when he gets back to you? I would, of course, be most interested to hear what he has to say! Jacob

I have no problem with the fee increase. The screenings by the society in the last five years especially have been superb. Who can forget the millenium new years eve screening, and the stunning closing episode to A For Andromeda! Totally unexpected and thrilling beyond words!

Still excellent value for money. I can't imagine anyone complaining.
I'm surprised it hasn't gone up more, actually. When you mentioned a rise a couple of months ago, I thought it'd be closer to £15K.

Well, living in Anchorage, Alaska, it's been quite a commute. But well worth the extra bucks. And I can afford it. My international traveler's check is in the mail...

That's not a worry, deary.
My direct debit has been updated accordingly and happily so.
When is the next issue of your lively scribblings due?
And can I be cheeky and ask if my drinking buddy Tracey E could do something for the cover?
She's been getting itchy fingers since her last installation.

What a clutz I am.
That was me above dears.
I'll swing for whoever said pernod and rum was a good idea. There'll be a big dent in that crate of Buxton in the pantry by tea-time.

I will get back to you when he gets back to me. I never cease to wonder at how my own accountant manages to sweep everything under the carpet - and in a quite legitimate way as well. I only wish he was free to do the same for you but the church likes to hold onto its own

She's been getting itchy fingers since her last installation. Pandora Issue 75 should be ready some time in July. We already have a cover ready (another fantastic montage by Ken Dryerson) but perhaps for the following issue?

Oh, I meant to ask:
What was the relevance of the 'Blackpool' clip? Where was that from?

Hello again all
I'm back!!! Did you miss me??
For those with short memories, I've been in the Philipines for the past few months, and whilst out there I found a lovely young girl and I've got married!!!
So this is out new home, very nice.
Anyway payment has been sent today, by telegraphic Transfer i'm afraid, but as you know i'm an old fashioned guy.
Trevor
PS: Still none the wiser about this Blackpool thing, bit obscure if you ask me.
